Taylor Kitsch played Tim Riggins in the sports drama, Friday Night Lights, for five seasons. The show was a huge hit, with 8 million viewers overall. He was also cast as Gambit in an X-Men spinoff, X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Kitsch did his best to land higher-profile roles. His agent certainly fought for him. He landed roles in Battleship, John Carter, and True Detective, but none of them were big enough to put him in the box office.
