The Grateful Dead is easily the most overrated band on this list. How have they transcended time? How are they still getting newer, younger fans? What even is their music?
Their fans, the Dead Heads, are also pretty brutal. You always know a Dead Head when you see one... The tie-dye shirt, cut-off jorts, and bandana wrapped like a headband are some "dead" giveaways.

Imagine Dragons kind of popped up out of nowhere and became superstars overnight. Do you know of anyone who would call them their favorite band? Me neither, and yet, they're always on the radio and being talked about on mainstream media. What gives?
