Everyone loves to make fun of Nic Cage for his role in stealing the declaration of independence. In reality, he's quite a celebrated actor. Cage had a lot of roles in romance/drama films like Leaving Las Vegas and Moonstruck, but his action flick resume is nothing to brush off.

Cage has played a part in mainstream hits like The Rock, Face/Off, Con Air, and of course, National Treasure. He was definitely more active in the '80s and '90s, but at least he had National Treasure to fall back in on the 21st Century.
