The Number 23
Sometimes movies in the horror and thriller genre rely on mental illnesses to build their plots. It's possible to do this well, but the Number 23 does not live up to the hype. In the end, the viewer finds out that the book of secrets is actually written by the main character. He had amnesia and forgot his own novel!
Tusk
Who said horror can't be hilarious? That's what the movie Tusk tried to accomplish, but it ended up way closer to disturbing than funny. In the end, the main character escapes and outruns his captor. However, he lives the rest of his days in solitude because he is no longer human. Yikes!
