Up in Alaska, it's illegal to put an animal in the back of an open vehicle. Trucks, convertibles, Jeeps without a top... That's a no-go for all pets!

There is a loophole to this, of course. If the dog's tail wag is below 46 inches, it's allowed in the vehicle. This law was put into effect when a pup was reported as a nuisance.
