This does not look like the Titanic, but it might just end up that way! The Silver Spirit Cruise Ship was lengthened in 2018 to add more space. To do this, engineers needed to cut it down the middle, slotted in a new section, and then resealed it. About 49 feet were added to the ship.

Technically, planting anything this way is called "lasagna style". Not because of the food though, just the layering. By using this technique, you'll have a longer bloom of your flowers or vegetables. Plus, if the plant doesn't last year-round, this will increase its chances of growing again the following year.
