If nothing else, 2020 has taught us to expect the unexpected. That being said, it's hard to imagine that anyone could have foreseen the bizarre Twilight Zone we would all be living in for months—or years—on end. And that includes Taco Bell wine.
Yes, you read that correctly. Taco Bell has released a jalapeño noir wine. Sadly, if you live anywhere other than Canada, you won't be able to pair your Crunchwrap Supreme with a nice spicy Taco Bell-branded wine. The beverage will be available at select Taco Bell locations and online via www.tacobell.ca.
The wine will go live on September 16. It reportedly has notes of cherry, beetroot, and wild strawberry, according to a Taco Bell spokesperson. Although the drink pairs well with just about anything the franchise has to offer, it is recommended to be consumed with the Toasted Cheesy Chalupa, which boasts six-month-aged sharp cheddar toasted onto the chalupa shell, filled with seasoned beef and any other toppings the customer requests.
Despite this specialty drink only being available in Canada, the Toasted Cheesy Chalupa will now be available at Taco Bell locations in November.
