General Francis P. Blair Added to the Photograph

General Francis P. Blair, sitting down on the right, was added to the photograph after the fact. He couldn't make it to the shoot, but the American government didn't want to release a photo of their top generals with one missing. So, they had to alter history. 

The Original

The photo shown above is the original photo. They intentionally left a space on the right so that they could photoshop the general onto it. On a later date, they used the same exact setup and had General Blair sit in the spot on the right. Then, they overlayed the photos and sent it out to the public.
