Kristen Bell, like a lot of parents right now, seems to be struggling with homeschooling her two young daughters, Lincoln and Delta. While some celebrities like Oprah and Meryl Streep get to stay home and partake in their Skype book club meetings and drink wine all day, those with small kids are experiencing a whole different kind of quarantine.
Bell spoke with actress Ashley Graham, a new mom herself, on an episode of Momsplaining.
"Doing schoolwork with them, it is absolutely miserable. When we started the quarantine, the first math sheet I gave my daughter, in all the answer lines she wrote 'No, no, no, no, no," Bell said. "There are a few people that have come out victorious in this situation — germaphobes, stay-at-home moms," she continued. "They're all like, 'I told you how hard this is!'"
The subject of much of Bell's hilarious frustration comes from a personal essay her daughter wrote - about Bell.
Her first-grade aged daughter wrote an opinion essay on Bell's "bad reactions" to the things she does, and the result is pretty hilarious. Phrases like, "stern voice," "doesn't believe in me," and "no patience" are all there, waiting for Bell's approval. In response to the assignment, Bell joked, "Touché my young lass. Touché."
