Maggie Smith
Maggie Smith had been acting since the 1950s, but she never really left the stage until she got a bit older. Her first role was in the movie The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, which landed her an Academy Award. She was later cast as Violet Crawley from Downtown Abbey, and Minerva McGonagall in the Harry Potter series.
Mary Steenburgen
Since she was a child, Mary Steenburgen has been doing incredible things that showcased her talents. She wrote books, participated in talent shows, and she discovered her passion for acting, which landed her in Manhattan while pursuing a career. Steenburgen was given a Best Supporting Actress award for her role in the movie Melvin and Howard in 1980. She has won numerous other awards over the years, and she isn't done yet.
