Illinois: Harrison Ford

Harrison Ford, aka Han Solo and Indiana Jones, grew up in the city of Chicago. After he graduated high school, he moved out to Wisconsin for college. Funny enough, he studies English and philosophy! Acting was never really on his radar...

He was working around town as a carpenter while taking on small roles. He didn't think it would go anywhere but did it for fun! Somehow, he was hired to be Han Solo, and the rest is history. He's easily the most famous person to come out of Illinois... Maybe Betty White and Walt Disney could contend.
