Here are the Most Famous Celebrities from Every State in America

Ohio: John Legend

Legend was born in Springfield, Ohio (which is also where people theorize the Simpsons are from). Legend was homeschooled, but he went to high school when he was 12 and finished when he was just 16. Legend went to the Ivy League University of Penn. when he was 17, and he moved to California afterward.

Missouri: Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt was born in Oklahoma, but he traces all of his family roots back to Missouri. His family moved there when he was just five months old. Pitt was a journalist before he became an actor, and we're thankful he didn't stick with that profession.
