Tippi Hedren
Tippi Hedren was one of the most valuable actors of the Golden Age. She was best known for her close ties with Alfred Hitchcock and starred in two of his hit movies The Birds and Marnie. Sadly, her career took a tumble after Hitchcock used his influence against her.
Making A Choice
Hitchcock was furious about Hedren turning down his sexual advances, and he promised her that she would never work in Hollywood ever again. He froze her contract for two years until he decided to sell it. Unsurprisingly, the whole idea of Hollywood and movie stardom left a bitter taste in Hedren's mouth, so she dropped acting to campaign for animal rights
