Most Embarrassing Moments In TV History

Donna Summer

Perhaps most remembered for the awkward exchange between her and Johnny Carson.

Carson introduced Summer as the "Queen of Disco" and asked her about a rumor that she did not wear underwear. Summer looked visibly uncomfortable and responded with a brief denial. Carson continued to press the issue, making several more comments and jokes about it, despite Summer's obvious discomfort.

Carol Wayne

Carol Wayne was an American actress and a regular performer on "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" from the mid-1960s through the late 1970s.

She was known for her comedic roles, as well as her statuesque beauty and distinctive voice. Wayne was also a frequent guest star on various television shows, including "The Love Boat," "The Fall Guy," and "Fantasy Island." Unfortunately, Wayne passed away in 1985 at the age of 42.
